Foreign exchange rates fixed for Saturday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.25 and the selling rate at Rs 153.85.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15. The buying and selling rates of one Australian dollar are Rs 109.73 and Rs 110.16 respectively, while one Canadian dollar is being exchanged at Rs 111.47 for buying and Rs 111.91 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Euro has been fixed at Rs 178.38 and the selling rate at Rs 179.08. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 204.95 and the selling rate at Rs 205.75.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required.

The central bank also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on its official website.
