Gold and silver prices rise modestly



KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver in the local market increased modestly today. Gold rose by Rs 100 per tola, while silver increased by Rs 30.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation, the price of gold in the local market has been fixed at Rs 302,800 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 5,250 per tola.

On Wednesday, the price of gold stood at Rs 302,700 per tola, while silver was traded at Rs 5,220 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is being traded at $4,821 per ounce, while silver is priced at $80 per ounce in the international market today.
