NOC raises diesel and kerosene prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has revised fuel prices.

According to NOC, prices of diesel and kerosene have increased by Rs 30 per liter, while domestic aviation fuel has gone up by Rs 5 per liter. However, the price of petrol remains unchanged.

Following the latest revision, diesel and kerosene now cost Rs 237 per liter. Under the first category, the price is Rs 234.50 per liter, and under the second category, it is Rs 236 per liter.

Despite the adjustment, the Corporation states it is still incurring a loss of Rs 99.16 per liter on diesel.

The price revision follows a new purchase price list issued by the Indian Oil Corporation to Nepal.
