KATHMANDU: Testing of the ‘Digital Parliament’ system will begin from Wednesday with the aim of transforming the operations of the House of Representatives and its secretariat into a digital system.
The Secretariat briefed members of the Business Advisory Committee on the progress made so far and its future plans for the digital parliament concept during a meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal.
According to the Speaker’s Secretariat, the testing phase is being initiated with the objective of gradually shifting the operations of the House of Representatives and its secretariat to a digital system.
During the meeting, committee members provided various suggestions and recommendations to make the implementation of the Digital Parliament more effective.
The meeting also discussed ways to incorporate the suggestions received and ensure effective implementation of the Digital Parliament system.
