BAGLUNG: Private schools in Baglung have contributed more than Rs 1.2 million to support victims of the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli floods.
The Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON), Baglung, has contributed Rs 1.2 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for flood victims.
According to PABSON Baglung Chairman Dal Thapa, Rs 824,741 was collected from schools affiliated with the organization, as well as school administrators, teachers, employees and students, and sent to the government through the PABSON central office.
PABSON Baglung had launched a relief collection campaign through its member schools across the district to support rescue and relief efforts for victims of the floods and disaster caused by the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river on August 26.
