NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.93, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.53.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro has been set at Rs 179.00 and the selling rate at Rs 179.71. The buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is Rs 206.60 and the selling rate is Rs 207.41. Likewise, the buying rate of one Swiss Franc has been fixed at Rs 195.60 and the selling rate at Rs 196.37.

The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is Rs 110.73 and the selling rate is Rs 111.16. The buying rate of one Canadian Dollar stands at Rs 111.46 and the selling rate at Rs 111.90. Similarly, one Singapore Dollar is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 120.10 and a selling rate of Rs 120.57.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.69 and the selling rate is Rs 9.72. The buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is Rs 22.54 and the selling rate is Rs 22.63. Likewise, one Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.76 and a selling rate of Rs 40.92, while one Qatari Riyal is being exchanged at Rs 41.95 for buying and Rs 42.12 for selling.

The buying rate of one Thai Baht has been fixed at Rs 4.73 and the selling rate at Rs 4.75. One UAE Dirham is valued at Rs 41.64 for buying and Rs 41.80 for selling. Similarly, one Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 38.90 and a selling rate of Rs 39.05. The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean Won are Rs 10.25 and Rs 10.29 respectively. One Swedish Kronor is being traded at Rs 16.40 for buying and Rs 16.46 for selling, while one Danish Kroner has a buying rate of Rs 23.96 and a selling rate of Rs 24.05.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at Rs 19.52 and the selling rate at Rs 19.60. The buying and selling rates of one Kuwaiti Dinar are Rs 499.20 and Rs 501.16 respectively.

Likewise, one Bahraini Dinar is being traded at Rs 405.49 for buying and Rs 407.08 for selling, while one Omani Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 397.22 and a selling rate of Rs 398.77.

The buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
