PM Balen to interact with PR MPs today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah is set to hold discussions with proportional representation (PR) lawmakers from all parties in the Federal Parliament today.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at 12:00 noon at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

During the interaction, PR lawmakers are expected to present their views on key issues, challenges, and possible solutions related to their respective constituencies and clusters.

The initiative aims to strengthen policy formulation and implementation by fostering direct dialogue between elected representatives and the executive. Officials say it will also help enhance good governance, accountability, and people-centered decision-making.

Prime Minister Shah had earlier held similar consultations with directly elected lawmakers on a province-wise basis.
