NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the official foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar stands at Rs 149.11, while the selling rate is Rs 149.71.

Among other major currencies, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 175.98 and the selling rate Rs 176.69. The UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 202.37 (buying) and Rs 203.19 (selling), while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 191.17 (buying) and Rs 191.94 (selling).

Similarly, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 106.27 (buying) and Rs 106.70 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 108.43 and Rs 108.87, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 117.32 and Rs 117.79, respectively.

In Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen is valued at Rs 9.39 (buying) and Rs 9.43 (selling), while one Chinese yuan is set at Rs 21.88 and Rs 21.96. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.73 (buying) and Rs 39.89 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.90 and Rs 41.06.

The Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.66 (buying) and Rs 4.68 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.74 and Rs 37.89. Similarly, 100 South Korean won is valued at Rs 10.14 (buying) and Rs 10.18 (selling). The Swedish krona is set at Rs 16.28 and Rs 16.35, and the Danish krone at Rs 23.55 and Rs 23.64.

Other rates include the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.04 (buying) and Rs 19.11 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 486.73 and Rs 488.69, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 395.26 and Rs 396.85, and the Omani rial at Rs 387.29 and Rs 388.85. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

The central bank noted that exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as required. Rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and updated figures are available on the central bank’s official website.
