KATHMANDU: The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy across the country today, with the Weather Forecasting Division forecasting the possibility of heavy rainfall in some parts.
According to the Division, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Karnali provinces, as well as in the hilly and Terai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Moderate to heavy rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at some places in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in the mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, moderate to heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is possible at some places in the hilly areas of the country. Such rainfall is also likely at some places in the Terai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places in the Terai areas of Madhesh and Koshi provinces.
The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy across the country tonight as well. Heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the Terai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Division has forecast moderate to heavy rain and snowfall at a few places in the mountainous areas of the country. Moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is also likely at some places in the hilly and Terai areas.
