KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.59, while the selling rate is Rs 153.19.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 177, with the selling rate at Rs 177.70. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 206.29 and the selling rate is Rs 207.11. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 186.91 and the selling rate at Rs 187.64.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.41 and the selling rate is Rs 109.84. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 110.10 and the selling rate is Rs 110.44, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 120.42 and the selling rate is Rs 120.89.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.94 and the selling rate is Rs 9.98. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.75 and the selling rate is Rs 22.84. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.63 and the selling rate is Rs 40.79, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.86 and the selling rate is Rs 42.02.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.61 and the selling rate is Rs 4.63. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.55 and the selling rate is Rs 41.71. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.49 and the selling rate is Rs 37.63. Similarly, the buying rate of one South Korean won is Rs 11.37 and the selling rate is Rs 11.42.
The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.74 and the selling rate is Rs 15.80, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.68 and the selling rate is Rs 23.77.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.46 and the selling rate at Rs 19.53. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 497.60 and the selling rate is Rs 499.56, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.72 and the selling rate is Rs 406.11. The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 396.33 and the selling rate is Rs 397.89. The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank. Updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
