Home Minister Sudan Gurung reaches Simara to meet meter interest victims



SIMARA: Home Minister Sudan Gurung arrived in Simara on Tuesday morning to listen to the grievances of victims affected by loan sharking and meet with them.

The victims, who had been marching to demand justice, halted their journey in Nijgadh after receiving information that the Home Minister was coming to meet them personally.

The victims had rested overnight at the Industry and Commerce Association hall in Nijgadh and were preparing to resume their march on Tuesday morning. However, local police informed them that Home Minister Gurung was on his way to meet them.

Following the information, the victims temporarily stopped their march and have been waiting for the minister in Nijgadh.

The victims’ march, launched from Janakpurdham on Ashadh 25 demanding justice against loan sharking and fraud, reached Nijgadh of Bara district on Monday evening.
