Finance Minister Wagle says policy and programme reflect shared vision of all parties

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has claimed that the government’s policy and programme incorporates the shared vision and key priorities of all political parties.

Responding to questions raised during Thursday’s House of Representatives meeting on the policy and programme, he said the government would take constructive suggestions from lawmakers seriously.

“The suggestions, important views and ideas received have been taken seriously by the government. We have prepared a shared policy and programme by including key national interest-based agendas of all parties,” Wagle said.

He added that constructive criticism and alternative perspectives from lawmakers would be considered in future implementation and policy refinement.

“We will use constructive criticism and alternative viewpoints as a basis for implementation and policy adjustments in the future. We are committed to further strengthening and maturing the national development debate,” he said.
