NC holding Central Work Execution Committee meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Central Work Execution Committee today to discuss issues related to the party’s organisation and current political developments.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2 pm at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur. Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal has requested the mandatory attendance of all office bearers, committee members and provincial presidents.

The party has not disclosed the agenda for the meeting. However, the gathering comes amid several organisational and political challenges facing the NC and is expected to provide a platform for the leadership to review the party’s current position and discuss its future course.

The participation of provincial presidents is expected to facilitate discussions on the party’s organisational activities and political situation across the provinces, as well as coordination between the central leadership and provincial structures.

The NC has yet to clarify whether the meeting will take any major decisions or endorse specific proposals.
