Nepali Congress central committee meeting to continue today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting will continue today at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm under the chairmanship of party President Gagan Kumar Thapa.

The meeting, which has been underway since August 9, is discussing various issues including the party’s 15th general convention, sister organisations, future political strategy and contemporary political developments.

Central committee members are continuing to present their views on the issues under discussion.

At Wednesday’s meeting, 28 central committee members, including General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire, expressed their views.

The meeting is expected to continue hearing the views of remaining central committee members before the party moves towards decisions on the issues on the agenda.
