CK Raut raises security concerns over suspicious vehicles outside media houses

KATHMANDU: Janamat Party Chair CK Raut has expressed serious concern over the suspicious parking of vehicles outside media houses and public places, warning that such incidents pose a significant security risk.

Reacting on social media after vehicles were found blocking the entrances to Kantipur Media Group in Tinkune, Himalaya Television in Mid-Baneshwor and Onlinekhabar in Buddhanagar on Monday morning, Raut said such activities could have dangerous consequences.

He also referred to similar incidents outside Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Anamnagar and the residence of Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa in Ratopul, saying the pattern was deeply troubling.

“I hope not. Today they park vehicles blocking gates; what if tomorrow they leave explosives outside people’s homes?” Raut wrote, questioning the implications of the incidents.

In his post, Raut also quoted lines from the renowned poem “Hum Dekhenge” by progressive poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz.
