Gagan Thapa alleges government involvement in vehicles parked outside media houses, his residence

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has alleged that the suspicious parking of vehicles outside media houses, business establishments, and his own residence was carried out as part of a government-backed plan.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Thapa said a vehicle had been parked at the entrance to his old residence in Ratopul, obstructing access, and expressed suspicion that the government was involved in the incident.

He said two individuals arrived at around 7 am and parked the vehicle directly in front of the house.

Citing information from local residents, Thapa claimed the individuals who parked the vehicle were later seen leaving in a government vehicle. Thapa said locals informed him about the incident later in the day, adding that what he found most concerning was the apparent indication of government involvement.
