Kathmandu’s minimum temperature falls to 3°C



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has decreased compared to yesterday, according to early measurements today (Tuesday).

The Weather Forecasting Division said that the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 3.0 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today, down from 3.6 degrees Celsius at the same time yesterday (Monday).

After Monday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu further dropped to 3.0 degrees Celsius by 8:45 am. Officials expect that today’s official measurement, also taken at 8:45 am, may record an even lower minimum.

The Division monitors daily temperatures across the country, including Kathmandu, measuring minimum temperatures at 8:45 am and maximum temperatures at 5:45 pm.

The lowest recorded temperature during the measurement period is considered the day’s minimum, while the highest is considered the maximum.
