NA passes proposal presented seeking consideration on ‘Infectious Animal Diseases (Control) Bill



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly has unanimously passed the proposal seeking consideration on ‘Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083’.

Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment, Gita Chaudhary, tabled the proposal in today’s NA meeting.

On the occasion, Minister Chaudhary shared that the bill has been brought to control infectious disease seen in livestock and fish farming in Nepal.

Prem Prasad Dangal, Yuba Raj Sharma, Madan Kumari Shah (Garima), Narayan Dutta Mishra, Rukmini Koirala, Bishnu Kumari Sapkota, Shrikrishna Prasad Adhikari, Basudev Ghimire, Bhuwan Bahadur Sunuwar and Dharmendra Pawan had participated in the discussion on the proposal.

NA Secretary Tul Bahadur Kandel tabled the message before the NA received from the House of Representatives regarding the Bill, 2083 to revive the previous provisions of Nepal Special Service Act, 2042.

Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Poudel, presented ‘Bill Related to Domestic Air Carrier Liability, 2083’.

The NA will meet next at 1:15 pm tomorrow.
