Cloudy skies and rain expected to continue in Kathmandu Valley throughout the day

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley has remained cloudy with intermittent rainfall since early morning today (Tuesday), with meteorologists indicating that the unsettled weather is likely to persist throughout the day.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is little possibility of the skies clearing over the valley today. The Division said there is a strong chance of continued rainfall.

There is a high chance of rain in the valley today. Light to moderate rainfall is possible, according to the Division. Light rain is already occurring in some areas, it said.

It further noted that even if there are brief spells of sunshine, cloud cover is expected to return quickly adding that there is a low chance of the weather clearing today.
