SIRAHA: A youth has been arrested with 19 kilograms of marijuana from the Zeromile area in Siraha.
Rajesh Das of Dhangadhimai Municipality-9, who was reportedly heading towards India carrying the contraband on a motorcycle and an autorickshaw, was taken into custody.
According to Sumanjung Thapa, Chief of the Armed Police Force in the area, a team deployed by the Armed Police Force following a tip-off about marijuana smuggling arrested him this morning.
During a subsequent search in the Sukhipur area, police recovered a silver bracelet, cash amounting to Rs. 25,000, and a mobile phone from his possession.
