Election Commission begins receiving printed materials for House of Representatives by-election



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission has started receiving printed materials required for the upcoming House of Representatives by-election scheduled for March 5.

According to Assistant Spokesperson Kul Bahadur GC, essential materials including voting guidelines, vote counting directives, election-related Acts, regulations and other manuals have been printed in sufficient quantities at the printing press of Nepal Academy in Kamaladi and have begun arriving at the Commission.

He said the printed materials received will be dispatched to all 77 districts along with other election-related supplies.

In the first phase, 5,000 copies of the printed materials have been delivered from the Nepal Academy press. The remaining materials will be sent to the districts in phases once they are received, he added.

Meanwhile, the Commission stated that ballot papers are currently being printed at Janak Education Materials Centre Limited.
