Dipendra Singh Airee signed by Islamabad United in PSL auction



KATHMANDU: Nepal national cricket team vice-captain and all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee has been signed by Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the auction held on Wednesday, Airee was picked by Islamabad United at his base price of 6 million Pakistani rupees.

Reacting to the news of his selection, Airee expressed happiness, saying he was delighted to hear that he had been chosen in the PSL auction.

Soon after his signing, Nepal national team captain Rohit Paudel congratulated Airee and extended his best wishes for a successful stint in the franchise league.

Airee is the vice-captain of Nepal’s T20 World Cup squad. He delivered a magical performance against England in Nepal’s opening match of the tournament and is set to play against Italy today.
