Kathmandu records 8°C early morning temperature



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley recorded an early morning temperature of 8.0 degrees Celsius today (Thursday), according to the Weather Forecasting Division. The temperature was measured at 5:45 am.

At the same time yesterday (Wednesday), the minimum temperature was 7.9 degrees Celsius. However, during the official measurement at 8:45 am, it dropped slightly to 7.4 degrees Celsius.

Today’s official minimum temperature will also be recorded at 8:45 am and is expected to be slightly lower than the early morning reading.

The minimum temperature refers to the lowest temperature recorded during the day, while the maximum temperature is the highest.

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures at various locations across the country, including Kathmandu. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am and the maximum at 5:45 pm.
