BIRGUNJ: Police have arrested two people with marijuana and brown sugar in separate locations in Parsa.
Police arrested 70-year-old Dukhi Mahato of Bhathora, Paterwasugauli Rural Municipality-4, from his residence with 18.4 kg of marijuana. An Indian national was also arrested from Parwanipur, Birgunj Metropolitan City-21, with brown sugar.
According to the District Police Office, the two were arrested by police teams deployed on routine patrol on Thursday. The suspects have been remanded in police custody for further investigation.
