Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.41, while the selling rate is Rs 153.01.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 177.32 and the selling rate at Rs 178.02. Similarly, one British pound sterling has been set at Rs 206.53 for buying and Rs 207.34 for selling, while one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 188.06 for buying and Rs 188.80 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.89 and the selling rate is Rs 110.32. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 110.37 for buying and Rs 110.80 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is set at Rs 120.47 and Rs 120.94, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.92 and the selling rate is Rs 9.96. One Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 22.73 for buying and Rs 22.82 for selling. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.59 and Rs 40.75, while one Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.81 and Rs 41.98 for buying and selling, respectively.

According to the central bank, one Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.63 for buying and Rs 4.65 for selling. One UAE dirham is set at Rs 41.49 and Rs 41.66, while one Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs 37.49 and Rs 37.64, respectively. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.35 and the selling rate is Rs 11.40. One Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.88 for buying and Rs 15.94 for selling, while one Danish krone is set at Rs 23.72 and Rs 23.81, respectively.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.44 and the selling rate at Rs 19.51. Similarly, one Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 497.02 for buying and Rs 498.97 for selling. One Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 404.24 and Rs 405.84, while one Omani rial is set at Rs 395.86 and Rs 397.42 for buying and selling, respectively.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank. The latest exchange rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
