NRB publishes foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.23 and the selling rate at Rs 152.83.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 173.96 and the selling rate at Rs 174.65. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 204.15 and sold at Rs 204.95, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 188.64 and sold at Rs 189.38.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 105.75 and the selling rate at Rs 106.17. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 107.43 and sold at Rs 107.86, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 117.91 and sold at Rs 118.37.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.41 and the selling rate at Rs 9.45. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.46 and sold at Rs 22.55. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 40.55 and sold at Rs 40.71, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 41.78 and sold at Rs 41.94.

According to NRB, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate is Rs 4.59. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.45 and sold at Rs 41.61, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.40 and sold at Rs 37.55.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.12 and the selling rate at Rs 10.16. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.80 and sold at Rs 15.86, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.27 and sold at Rs 23.36.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 494.65 and sold at Rs 496.60. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 403.76 and the selling rate is Rs 405.35, while one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 395.38 and sold at Rs 396.94.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates quoted by commercial banks may vary and that updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
