RSP leading PR vote count with over 5.1 million votes



KATHMANDU: A total of 17,220,567 votes have been counted so far under the proportional representation (PR) election system.

According to the details released by the Election Commission Nepal, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured the highest number of votes, receiving 5,129,619 votes.

Similarly, Nepali Congress has received 1,745,954 votes, while Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) has secured 1,447,664 votes.

Likewise, the CPN-UML has received 820,743 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party has secured 378,478 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has received 329,197 votes.

Similarly, the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has secured 170,305 votes, the Rastriya Pariwartan Party has received 170,444 votes, and the Janamat Party has received 78,927 votes. The vote counting is still ongoing.
