Kathmandu records 7.9°C minimum at 5:45 am today



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley at 5:45 am today (Wednesday) was 7.9°C, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

At the same time yesterday (Tuesday), the minimum temperature was 7.5°C, but during the official measurement at 8:45 am, it dropped slightly to 7.2°C.

Today’s official minimum temperature will also be recorded at 8:45 am and is expected to be lower than the early morning reading.

In meteorological terms, the minimum temperature is the lowest temperature recorded during the day, while the maximum temperature is the highest.

The Division measures daily minimum and maximum temperatures across various locations in Nepal, including Kathmandu, with the minimum recorded at 8:45 am and the maximum at 5:45 pm.
