2,662 delegates participate in Nepali Congress Special General Convention



KATHMANDU: The number of delegates supporting the Nepali Congress special general convention has reached 2,662. According to the convention secretariat, these delegates had signed in by 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Delegate registration by province is as follows: Koshi – 425, Madhesh – 446, Bagmati – 432, Gandaki – 296, Lumbini – 398, Karnali – 134, Sudurpashchim – 158.

Additionally, 178 delegates from the Kathmandu Valley and 195 from affiliated, friendly, and public relations committees have registered.

Nepali Congress has a total of 4,743 delegates nationwide. The party has announced that delegate registration will resume Monday morning at 8 a.m., with the closed session scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
