Kathmandu Valley records chilly morning at 3°C



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley recorded a cold morning on Sunday, with temperatures dipping to an initial 3 °C reading.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Kathmandu’s minimum temperature was 3.0 °C at 5:45 am. However, this is an initial reading, and the official minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, when it is expected to drop further.

Yesterday (Saturday), the minimum temperature in the valley was 2.6 °C. The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures across the country. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum is recorded at 5:45 pm.

The lowest reading of the day is considered the minimum temperature, and the highest reading is the maximum temperature.
