Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.88, while the selling rate is Rs 152.48.

The buying rate for one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.54 and the selling rate at Rs 177.24. Similarly, the buying rate for one pound sterling stands at Rs 205.52 and the selling rate at Rs 206.33, while the buying and selling rates for one Swiss franc have been set at Rs 187.37 and Rs 188.11, respectively.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate for one Australian dollar at Rs 109.58 and the selling rate at Rs 110.01. The buying and selling rates for one Canadian dollar are Rs 110.17 and Rs 110.61, respectively, while those for one Singapore dollar are Rs 120.05 and Rs 120.52.

For Japanese currency, the buying rate for 10 yen has been set at Rs 9.88 and the selling rate at Rs 9.92. Similarly, the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.64 and the selling rate is Rs 22.73. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal have been fixed at Rs 40.45 and Rs 40.61, respectively, while those for one Qatari riyal stand at Rs 41.67 and Rs 41.83.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.62 and the selling rate is Rs 4.63. The buying rate for one UAE dirham has been set at Rs 41.35 and the selling rate at Rs 41.52, while the buying and selling rates for one Malaysian ringgit are Rs 37.32 and Rs 37.47, respectively.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 11.34 and the selling rate at Rs 11.39. Likewise, the buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.82 and the selling rate is Rs 15.88, while the buying and selling rates for one Danish krone are Rs 23.62 and Rs 23.71, respectively.

The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.37 and the selling rate at Rs 19.44. The buying and selling rates for one Kuwaiti dinar are Rs 495.29 and Rs 497.24, respectively, while those for one Bahraini dinar stand at Rs 402.84 and Rs 404.43. The buying rate for one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 394.49 and the selling rate at Rs 396.05.

Meanwhile, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, with the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions and requirements. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
