Ganesh Nepali’s body to be sent to TU Teaching Hospital for post-mortem



KATHMANDU: The body of 25-year-old Ganesh Nepali, who died after sustaining severe burn injuries, will be sent to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

According to Bir Hospital, preparations are underway to transfer the body after completing the necessary coordination with the hospital’s Department of Forensic Medicine.

Nepali, a resident of Soru Rural Municipality-1 in Mugu, had been working in a ride-sharing service in Kathmandu. He sustained critical burn injuries on Thursday after dousing himself with petrol outside the Department of Passports in Tripureshwor.

He was admitted to Bir Hospital in critical condition and died during treatment on Friday morning.
