Foreign currency exchange rates remain stable today



KATHMANDU: Foreign exchange rates have remained stable today, according to Nepal Rastra Bank. The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 150.88 and the selling rate at Rs 151.48.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Euro stands at Rs 177.54, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 178.25. The exchange rates of both the US dollar and the Euro remain unchanged from Saturday.

The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 205.30 and the selling rate at Rs 206.12. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 193.82 and the selling rate is Rs 194.95.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.18 and the selling rate is Rs 109.61. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar stands at Rs 110.56 and the selling rate at Rs 110.99, while one Singapore dollar is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 119.01 and a selling rate of Rs 119.49.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.62 and the selling rate at Rs 9.66. Likewise, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.18 and the selling rate is Rs 22.27. One Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.22 and a selling rate of Rs 40.38, while one Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 41.41 for buying and Rs 41.58 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.70. One UAE dirham is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 41.08 and a selling rate of Rs 41.25. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 38.48 and the selling rate at Rs 38.63.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.29 and the selling rate at Rs 10.33. Likewise, one Swedish kronor has a buying rate of Rs 16.39 and a selling rate of Rs 16.46, while one Danish kronor is being traded at Rs 23.76 for buying and Rs 23.85 for selling.

The central bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.29 and the selling rate at Rs 19.35. One Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 492.75 for buying and Rs 494.71 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 399.84 and the selling rate is Rs 401.43, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 391.89 and a selling rate of Rs 393.45.

The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 per 100 Indian rupees, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
