KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.42, while the selling rate is Rs 152.02.
The buying rate for one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.82 and the selling rate at Rs 176.52. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 204.82 and the selling rate is Rs 205.63. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 186.57 for buying and Rs 187.31 for selling.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 109.19 and a selling rate of Rs 109.62. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.68 for buying and Rs 110.12 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 119.61 for buying and Rs 120.09 for selling.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.83 and the selling rate is Rs 9.87. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.56 for buying and Rs 22.65 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.32 for buying and Rs 40.48 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.54 for buying and Rs 41.70 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.60 and a selling rate of Rs 4.62. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.23 for buying and Rs 41.39 for selling.
The Malaysian ringgit has been set at Rs 37.28 for buying and Rs 37.43 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.28 and the selling rate is Rs 11.32.
The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 15.76 and a selling rate of Rs 15.82, while the Danish krone is fixed at Rs 23.52 for buying and Rs 23.62 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.31 for buying and Rs 19.39 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 493.79 for buying and Rs 495.74 for selling.
Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 401.60 and a selling rate of Rs 403.19, while the Omani rial is fixed at Rs 393.29 for buying and Rs 394.85 for selling. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank. Updated rates will be available on the NRB’s official website.
