Sudan Gurung of RSP wins Gorkha-1 with wide margin



GORKHA: Sudan Gurung of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the House of Representatives seat from Gorkha-1, with the final vote count showing a significant lead over his competitors.

Gurung secured 29,896 votes, while his nearest rival, Prem Khatri of the Nepali Congress, received 15,398 votes.

Hariraj Adhikari of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) came in third with 11,124 votes, followed by Ramchandra Lamichhane of the UML with 3,732 votes.
