Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Thursday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 154.55 and the selling rate at Rs 155.15.

The buying and selling rates of the euro have been fixed at Rs 173.02 and Rs 173.69, respectively. Similarly, the British pound sterling is set at Rs 204.42 for buying and Rs 205.21 for selling, while the Swiss franc is fixed at Rs 185.50 and Rs 186.22, respectively.

The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.68 for buying and Rs 108.10 for selling. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 108.67 and Rs 109.09, while the Singapore dollar is fixed at Rs 120.76 and Rs 121.23, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.76 and the selling rate is Rs 9.80. The Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 23.05 for buying and Rs 23.14 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 41.17 and Rs 41.33, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 42.40 and Rs 42.56, respectively.

The buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.59 and the selling rate is Rs 4.60. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 42.08 for buying and Rs 42.24 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs 37.81 and Rs 37.95, respectively.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won are Rs 11.55 and Rs 11.60, respectively. The Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.40 for buying and Rs 15.46 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.15 and Rs 23.24, respectively.

Similarly, the Hong Kong dollar is fixed at Rs 19.69 for buying and Rs 19.77 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 501.54 and Rs 503.49, while the Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 409.92 and Rs 411.51, respectively. The Omani rial is set at Rs 401.43 for buying and Rs 402.99 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

NRB said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated rates are available on the NRB website.
