KATHMANDU: Rainfall is likely to continue across various parts of the country until Friday under the influence of a western low-pressure system and monsoon winds, with weather conditions expected to gradually improve from Saturday.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, most parts of the country are currently experiencing rainfall due to the combined influence of the western low-pressure system and monsoon winds.
“Rainfall is occurring in most parts of the country at present. It is likely to continue until Friday afternoon, although conditions may improve somewhat from Friday evening,” meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane said.
He said the weather is expected to improve gradually from Saturday as the current weather system weakens. The Department said some areas may continue to receive rainfall on Friday, but overall weather conditions are expected to become more favorable from Saturday.
