KATHMANDU: A woman who attempted self-immolation in the capital has been taken to Bir Hospital for treatment.
Laxmi Devi Basnet, who set herself on fire at Maitighar in Kathmandu, was taken to Bir Hospital for treatment.
The woman attempted to set herself on fire during a candlelight vigil organised to mark one year since the Gen-Z movement.
Police immediately took her to Bir Hospital after she set herself on fire.
