RSP maintains lead, wins 100 constituencies so far



KATHMANDU: Vote counting for the House of Representatives (HoR) under the first-past-the-post system is ongoing across the country. So far, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured victory in 100 constituencies.

The party, which maintained a strong lead since the early stage of vote counting, confirmed its wins in 100 seats after results from 129 constituencies were announced.

The Nepali Congress is the second-largest party in terms of seats won so far, securing 14 constituencies. CPN-UML has won seven seats, while the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has secured six.

Similarly, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and an independent candidate have won one seat each.
