Raja Shakya elected RSP Kathmandu District President



KATHMANDU: Raja Shakya has been elected as the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Kathmandu District President. Shakya was elected after defeating another candidate, Suresh Sapkota, in the district convention.

Shakya, who was elected from the first convention, was previously the chair of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 8.

Rabindra Gautam has been elected vice president, Shantaman Maharjan secretary, and Shaurabh Basnet joint secretary.

Out of 522 delegates at the convention, 438 votes were cast.
