NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 151.62 and the selling rate at Rs 152.22.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 176.47 and the selling rate at Rs 177.17. One UK pound sterling is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 204.25 and a selling rate of Rs 205.06, while the buying and selling rates of one Swiss franc have been fixed at Rs 192.51 and Rs 193.27, respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 108.29 and the selling rate at Rs 108.72. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 109.25 and a selling rate of Rs 109.68, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 118.15 and a selling rate of Rs 118.62.

According to NRB, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.48 and the selling rate at Rs 9.52. The buying and selling rates of one Chinese yuan are Rs 22.41 and Rs 22.50, respectively.

Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 40.38 and a selling rate of Rs 40.54, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.62 and a selling rate of Rs 41.79.

The buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.65 and the selling rate at Rs 4.67. One UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 41.28 for buying and Rs 41.45 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.64 and a selling rate of Rs 37.79.

Likewise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 9.85 and the selling rate at Rs 9.89. One Swedish krona is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 16.24 and a selling rate of Rs 16.30, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.61 and a selling rate of Rs 23.70.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 19.35 and the selling rate at Rs 19.43. Similarly, one Kuwaiti dinar is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 493.96 and a selling rate of Rs 495.91. The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar have been fixed at Rs 402.07 and Rs 403.66, respectively, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 393.80 and a selling rate of Rs 395.36.

For Indian currency, the buying rate of INR 100 has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
