Hari Dhakal wins Chitwan-1 by huge margin



CHITWAN: Hari Dhakal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has won the House of Representatives seat from Chitwan 1, securing 58,208 votes.

Dhakal defeated his closest rival Rajendra Prasad Burlakoti of the Nepali Congress by a margin of 45,175 votes. Burlakoti received 13,033 votes.

Similarly, Dawa Dorje Lama of the CPN-UML secured 10,899 votes, finishing third. Krishna Raj Pant of the Nepali Communist Party came fourth with 4,081 votes.
