PM Modi congratulates Nepal on peaceful, successful elections



KATHMANDU: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the people and government of Nepal on the peaceful and successful completion of recent elections.

Sharing his thoughts on social media, Modi praised Nepali sisters and brothers for their enthusiastic exercise of democratic rights and expressed his delight over the conduct of the polls.

Describing the elections as a historic milestone in Nepal’s democratic journey, Modi called it a moment of pride for the country. He noted that this achievement would inject new energy into the relations between the neighboring nations.

As a close partner and neighbor, Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s development and stability.
