Manish Jha of RSP wins from Dhanusha-3



KATHMANDU: Manish Jha of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Dhanusha-3 in the House of Representatives (HoR) elections.

According to the Election Commission, Jha secured 43,142 votes, defeating his nearest rival, Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi, who received 15,992 votes. CPN-UML candidate Juli Mahato came third with 9,510 votes.

Similarly, Rama Lalit Mandal of the Nepali COmmunist Party secured 516 votes, Parameshwar Sah Sudi of JSP-Nepal received 445 votes, and Janamat Party’s Gopal Prasad Sah garnered 267 votes. Jha won the seat by a margin of 27,150 votes over Nidhi.
