CHITWAN: One person was killed in a road accident near Chhahari Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 on Friday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kul Bahadur Magar, 28, a local resident. The accident occurred when a truck (Na 6 Kha 6316) and a motorcycle (Na 31 Pa 2114) collided head-on.
According to Rabindra Khanal, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Magar sustained critical injuries in the collision and died during treatment at Chitwan Medical College Hospital.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
