KATHMANDU: In the initial readings, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday remained almost the same as the previous day.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 3.5 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today. At the same time on Tuesday, the temperature stood at 3.4 degrees Celsius.
However, the official minimum temperature recorded at 8:45 am on Tuesday dropped further to 3 degrees Celsius. Today’s official minimum temperature will also be measured at 8:45 am, and it is likely to decline further.
The Division records minimum and maximum temperatures across the country, including Kathmandu, on a daily basis. The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am, while the maximum temperature is recorded at 5:45 pm.
The lowest temperature recorded in a day is referred to as the minimum temperature, while the highest is the maximum temperature.
