Nepal Rastra Bank fixes foreign exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for various currencies for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 153.78, while the selling rate is Rs 154.38.

The buying rate for one euro is Rs 172.32 and the selling rate is Rs 172.99. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 203.32 and the selling rate is Rs 204.11. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 185.50 for buying and Rs 186.22 for selling.

The Australian dollar has been set at Rs 107.03 for buying and Rs 107.45 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 107.95 and Rs 108.37, respectively. The buying and selling rates for one Singapore dollar are Rs 120.12 and Rs 120.59, respectively.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.74 and the selling rate is Rs 9.77. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.94 for buying and Rs 23.03 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.96 and the selling rate is Rs 41.12, while the Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 42.19 and Rs 42.35, respectively.

The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.56 and the selling rate is Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.87 for buying and Rs 42.03 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.63 and Rs 37.77, respectively.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.44 and the selling rate is Rs 11.48. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.33 for buying and Rs 15.39 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.06 and Rs 23.15, respectively.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.60 and the selling rate is Rs 19.67. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 498.80 for buying and Rs 500.75 for selling.

The buying and selling rates for one Bahraini dinar are Rs 407.88 and Rs 409.47, respectively, while the Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 399.51 for buying and Rs 400.99 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for both buying and selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates and that updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
