KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday).
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.04, while the selling rate stands at Rs 152.64.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one euro are Rs 173.88 and Rs 174.57, respectively. One UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 203.01 and a selling rate of Rs 203.81, while one Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 189.26 and a selling rate of Rs 190.00.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 105.52 and the selling rate is Rs 105.94. One Canadian dollar is valued at Rs 107.08 for buying and Rs 107.50 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is set at Rs 117.72 and Rs 118.18, respectively.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen are Rs 9.42 and Rs 9.46, respectively. One Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 22.42 for buying and Rs 22.51 for selling. Likewise, one Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 40.49 and Rs 40.65, while one Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.71 for buying and Rs 41.88 for selling.
According to the NRB, one Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.58 and a selling rate of Rs 4.60. The buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 41.39 and Rs 41.56, respectively, while one Malaysian ringgit is traded at Rs 37.35 and Rs 37.49.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.94 and Rs 9.98, respectively. One Swedish krona is valued at Rs 15.75 for buying and Rs 15.81 for selling, while one Danish krone is fixed at Rs 23.26 and Rs 23.36, respectively.
The central bank has also set the buying and selling rates for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.39 and Rs 19.46, respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 493.80 for buying and Rs 495.75 for selling.
Similarly, one Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 403.30 and a selling rate of Rs 404.89, while one Omani rial is valued at Rs 394.91 and Rs 396.47, respectively.
The buying rate for Indian Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
