NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar stands at Rs 148.67, while the selling rate is Rs 149.27.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 171.22 and the selling rate is Rs 171.91. The UK pound sterling is priced at Rs 196.15 for buying and Rs 196.94 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 185.61 (buying) and Rs 186.35 (selling).

The Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 102.45 (buying) and Rs 102.86 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 106.60 (buying) and Rs 107.03 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs 115.52 (buying) and Rs 115.98 (selling).

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen is valued at Rs 9.32 for buying and Rs 9.35 for selling. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 21.60 for both buying and selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.60 (buying) and Rs 39.75 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is Rs 40.77 (buying) and Rs 40.93 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.55 (buying) and Rs 4.57 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 40.48 (buying) and Rs 40.64 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 36.88 (buying) and Rs 37.03 (selling).

Similarly, 100 South Korean won is priced at Rs 9.84 (buying) and Rs 9.88 (selling), the Swedish kronor at Rs 15.76 (buying) and Rs 15.74 (selling), and the Danish kronor at Rs 22.92 (buying) and Rs 23.01 (selling).

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.97 and the selling rate is Rs 19.05. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 484.35 (buying) and Rs 486.30 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 393.78 (buying) and Rs 395.36 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 386.16 (buying) and Rs 387.71 (selling). Likewise, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
