RSP’s Prakash Pathak leads in Jhapa-3, Rajendra Lingden trails



JHAPA: Early vote counting in Jhapa Constituency-3 shows Prakash Pathak of the Rastriya Swatantra Party leading the race. According to the latest figures, Pathak has secured 2,281 votes.

Rajendra Lingden, chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, is trailing with 1,610 votes.

Deepak Timsina of the Labour Culture Party is in third place with 788 votes, while Haribahadur Rajbanshi of CPN-UML has received 624 votes.

Previously, RPP and CPN-UML had often formed alliances in this constituency, but this time CPN-UML fielded a separate candidate, making the race more competitive.
